In order for a nomination to be successfully accepted and progress to the voting and shortlisting stages of the competition, the following criteria needs to be demonstrated via the nomination form:
- Overall business / entrepreneurial skills
- Relative achievements to date in running a business
- Attitude
- Ability to be an inspiring role model
- Advocator of change and creativity
- Passion and determination
- Ambition and drive
- Belief in own abilities and ideas
- Innovative and inventive
- Highly motivated
