Amway’s Britain’s Top Real Role Model 2013 – Voting Terms & Conditions

These are the terms and conditions for participation in the voting element ( the “VOTE” ) for Amway’s Britain’s Top Real Role Model 2013 ( “BTRRM” ) competition ( the “COMPETITION” ).   You may also need to read the Nominations Terms and Conditions which apply to any Nominations made for this Competition.
THE PROMOTER
1. The promoter and administrator of BTRRM and this Competition is Amway UK Limited (Amway, “we” or “us”) whose place of business is at St Anne’s House, Caldecotte Lake Drive, Caldecotte Business Park, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes, MK7 8JU and who operates the website: britainstoprealrolemodel.co.uk ( the “WEBSITE” ).

VOTE CRITERIA  

3.  In order to Vote, the following criteria must be met:

Vote Criteria

•    All participants ( “VOTER” ) must be a UK resident and over the age of 18
•    All Voters must be registered on the Website and all Votes must be submitted via the Website. There are no other methods of Voting under this Competition.
•    Each Voter can only register one Vote against a Nominee although they may Vote for more than one Nominee.
•    Anyone directly related to the Panel (as defined in the Nomination Terms and Conditions) are not able to Vote.
•    All Voters must have the bill payer’s permission prior to Voting.
•    The Voting process will be available once a nominee has met the stipulated criteria and added to the website. All Votes must be placed by NOON 12pm on Friday 18th October ( “VOTING END DATE” ). Any Votes received after this period will not be counted.
•    The eligibility of any Voter is at the sole discretion of Amway.
•    In the event of any dispute regarding the Vote, including without limitation the acceptability of any Vote, Amway’s decision shall be final.
•    Amway reserves the right to discount any Votes which Amway has reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent voting has occurred.  Amway may suspend, withdraw or re-set Voting in its sole discretion at any time during the Competition.

LIABILITY

4. Amway, its group companies and sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem in any system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any Vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded.  Only Votes received in accordance with these terms and conditions will be acceptable.

COST OF VOTING

5. Voting will be made via the Britain’s Top Real Role Model Website and the cost of your Vote will depend on the contract you have with your internet provider.

USE OF PERSONAL DETAILS

6. We will only use your personal details in respect of operating the Vote.  We will not, nor will our group companies use your personal details for marketing or any other purposes unless you have agreed to such use or have requested that we stop using your information for such purposes

7. Your personal details will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

VOTE RESULT  

8. A panel nominated by Amway (the “PANEL”) will consider amount of votes received when reviewing the competition entries and the following criteria should be considered for voting (the “PANEL VOTING CRITERIA”):

•    Overall Business/ Entrepreneurship Skills, the winner will exemplify entrepreneurial skills and will have the ability to inspire others through their vision
•    Any relative Achievements to Date in running a Business
•    Attitude
•    Ability to be an Inspiring Role Model
•    An advocator of change and creativity
•    Passion and determination
•    Ambition and drive
•    Belief in own abilities and ideas
•    Innovative/ Inventive
•    Inner drive to succeed
•    Highly motivated

11. The Panel will select the successful Nominee on the basis of this Voting Criteria (the “WINNER”) and will announce the Winner on the Website on 18th November, 2013.

12. The decision of the Panel shall be final.

THE PRIZE FOR BRITAIN’S TOP REAL ROLE MODEL

13. Amway will pay out a sum of £5,000 to the Winner which needs to be spent by the Winner into his/her project as described in the Criteria Terms and Conditions. The winner must invest the funds in a business enterprise project between November 2013 – August 2014.  The Winner may also receive nationwide recognition of the award within the UK as may be considered appropriate by Amway.

GENERAL TERMS    

14. By Voting, you agree that you will be bound by these terms and conditions.  We reserve the right to change them and update them from time to time but if we do so we will post the changes on this Website.

15. Amway’s BTRRM Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
